Cosmetic Dentistry

Including Dental Veneers and Delta Bonding

What is a Cosmetic Dentist?

The art of cosmetic dentistry is fairly new to the field of dental care. A cosmetic dentist’s primary focus is on the beauty of a person’s smile. They perform a variety of services to improve your teeth, mouth, and smile. Known as more of an elective form of dentistry, a wide variety of services is available. Our Sunrise Dental Eugene dentists provide great consultations and will designate a course of treatments designed specifically for you.

Cosmetic Dental Treatments:

Teeth Whitening:

A common practice that can be done within our dentist’s office or done in the comfort of your home. At home treatments usually take up to two to four weeks for results. Your dentist will fit you with a custom mouthpiece so the correct amount of whitening solution is applied. This treatment is done to eliminate discoloration in the enamel brought on by coffee, tea, medication, cigarettes, and other factors.

Bonding:

This practice lasts several years and is done for a variety of restoration reasons. Usually, it is done to fix chipped teeth, a filling for small cavities, and to close space in between teeth. Bonding can be done in one visit.

Crowns:

Crowns are applied to a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and size. Crowns have the most longevity out of all cosmetic procedures but are the most costly.

Veneers:

An alternative to crowns, veneers are done to improve the look and appearance of your teeth. Your cosmetic dentist will take a mold of your teeth to calculate the necessary adjustment and apply the cement accordingly. They will then buffer your teeth to perfection. Porcelain veneers have a longer life expectancy than bonding.
